Eclectic artist Naamah was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. As the youngest of five siblings, she was considered a quiet kid who kept to herself and was not involved in many group activities in school. During that time, Naamah developed a strong love for music and would spend her time learning various instruments such as the piano, guitar and cello. In high school her electives were all centered around music, and she excelled in her choir class, so much so that she began tutoring others.
After high school, Naamah went on to the Center of Performing Arts. Whilst there, she participated in musicals, using her training and skills to the fullest. Fast forward to today, Naamah’s love for music is still as strong as it was in her earlier years. Influences in her music come from Brandy, Jasmine Sullivan and Chris Brown to name a few. Her music is versatile and can be described as a mix of jazz, hip-hop, R&B and electric rock fusion. Adding to her many musical talents, Naamah also makes her own beats, produces her tracks and writes her own lyrics.
Years of experience and dedication to her craft has created the opportunity for Naamah to help other artists with their music as well. Collaborations with The Future, Kaye, The 4 Mothers, Yana, Ohanna, Twelve, One Lily and more have been some of the best moments of her career. Future projects for Naamah include a guest appearance on The Daughters of Sarah album, and features on albums by Twelve, The 4 Mothers and The Elect. With a goal of reaching a global audience with her music, each album and collaboration sets her on a path to do just that.
