ROYAL PRIESTHOOD
Royal Priesthood came together after many late-night sessions of freestyling and making beats with those of a like mind. This “collection of artists” is more than a group of talented young brothers and sisters from the DMV, Dominican Republic, and the UK. The group includes the musical styles from Zane, Matai, David, Nate, Zephaniah, Yoshiyah, Allon, and R&B vibes from Rhascia. Their mission is to make the music of this ever-changing industry more relatable for those that are transitioning from unrighteousness to righteousness yet still enjoy the sounds of new school hip-hop and R&B.
Coming together in one mind and spirit, their sound is not only created for the ears of our ever-evolving millennial Israelites, but for those who need a reminder of where their loyalty lies. Songs like, ‘Keys’, ‘Lost’ and ‘Trap’ from their mixtape trilogy ‘As It is Written’, brings to the forefront their love of the Most High. These songs help brothers and sisters who want to better understand who they are in this current world.
Although new to the ORR record label, one or more of the collectives were featured on tracks from Levite Sound and Yeremiah along with a feature on the Original Gods album. You may have also heard them on tracks independently with Nazir the Chosen and Young Prophet Isaiah.
