Sons of Thunder is a Mississippi Rap duo originating in 2018, consisting of the very bold and unique artists, Gedaliyah and Tzuriya. The jazzy, rhythm & blues sound of music has made a big impression on the two, influencing most of their soulful, southern rap sound. Both having their musical influences primarily rooted in the deep south, they have been inspired by high-profile artists and groups such as 8Ball, UGK, 36 Mafia, as well as Goodie Mob & Nas.
Prior to Sons of Thunder, Tzuriya successfully played the trombone while in high school, followed by him being a part of the well-recognized Jackson Mississippi concert band named Sonic Boom of the South. They are known for their football halftime performances and parades across Mississippi. With this foundation of musical talent, the monumental pair have come together to give Israel a body of hit songs, and a total of three albums to date. Having released their 2018 debut album Redemption From The Cotton Capital, they went on to release part 2 of the album in 2019, comprising 19 prominent tracks. Their third album More Light features striking songs like Mississippi Renegade and Well Done.
The duo has also been featured on singles with other artists such as Asaph, Malachi, and Zacur. Sons of Thunder continues to create ground-breaking music in hopes of inspiring the nation by creating thought-provoking, righteous sounds Israel can relate to and be motivated by while enduring their spiritual walk. Future endeavors include their 1st studio album, 7th Trump.
